Minor in Mis- and Disinformation

The minor is built around the four C’s of misinformation: students learn about the content of misinformation across issues and sources, its technological and social causes, its consequences across levels of influence, and the ways it can be countered through a range of (technology-enabled) interventions. The minor is interdisciplinary and open to students from outside Communication Science. 

MiRA welcomes students who want to work on misinformation. We offer thesis supervision, academic internships, and occasional research assistance opportunities on our projects. Please reach out to the relevant project team/faculty if interested.
